WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?

We have a flat rate of $4.98 usd for Standard 3-5 day shipping for orders under $60 via USPS, and shipping is FREE on most orders over $60 within the continental US*.  Orders are shipped out on business days within 48 hours after the order is placed. We will send you a tracking number to follow your order’s progress.

When you receive the tracking number it means the shipment has been picked up and is in the hands of the selected carrier. While your order is in transit we are limited in the information available to us and inquiries regarding the current status or a delay should be sent to the carrier. Please understand that all carriers have stopped offering delivery guarantees and as such we can no longer guarantee delivery on express orders.

Shipping time might vary depending on the final destination of the product. 

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

If you want to return a product it should be unopened and it's original packaging within 30 days of purchase. We are not able to accept returns on sample-size products and we will not be able to accept returns on opened variety packs, gift boxes or used products. If you received a damaged item, if you are missing an item or if you got an incorrect item, contact us immediately and we will make it right. Once you place your order has been shipped, you'll get an email notification. That email will include a tracking link for your order.

WHAT CAN I DO IF MY ORDER IS INCOMPLETE?

Please email MACA@MACATEAS.COM and we'll make it right. Make sure to add: INCOMPLETE ORDER in the subject. You'll get a confirmation email in the following 24 to 48 hours. 

WHAT CAN I DO IF MY BLEND IS OUT OF STOCK?

Please be on the look out as we'll let you know via email once it's back on stock

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MADE A MISTAKE WHEN PROVIDING MY ADDRESS?

Please double check your shipping address during checkout and when you receive the order confirmation. If you notice an error in your shipping address, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. We will try our best to intercept the order before it is shipped and make the change to your address, free of charge. Any address changes may delay the shipment of your order.

Once a package leaves our warehouse, it's in the shipping carrier's hands. Please make sure your address is correct before placing your order. We do not issue refunds for missing, stolen, or wrong address packages.

Occasionally our shipping software will detect address mistakes (i.e., missing apartment number). If that happens, we will pull your order and email you a request to update your address. If you do not respond to our request after 30 days, we will cancel the order and issue a refund.

CAN I REUSE MY TEA LEAVES?

The reuse of tea leaves depends on the type of tea you are brewing. Below is a breakdown of our recommendations:
Black tea: 1 brew
Green tea: 1-4 brews
Oolong tea: 1-4 brews
Herbal tea: 1 brew

We do not recommend letting tea leaves sit for more than 4 hours after the most recent brew to limit bacteria growth from the moisture.

DO THE BLENDS CONTAIN ADDED SUGAR?

No, any of our blends contain any added sugar

ARE THE TEAS GLUTEN FREE?

Our teas are 100% gluten free. No wheat (or wheat derivatives), rye, barley, triticale, malt, yeast, or wheat starch was used in the blending of your teas. Our suppliers manufatureproducts in facilities that may not be certified as gluten-free, so please proceed with caution if you have any gluten sensitivities or allergies.

ARE THE TEAS ORGANIC?

Some of them are. Please make sure to read the description box and/or the package to check if your selected blend is organic. 

WHAT'S THE CAFFEINE CONTENT?

We sort our teas into four different categories based on caffeine content: high, medium, low & none. With any loose leaf tea, the caffeine content will vary based on the origin of the tea, weather conditions, processing techniques and the amount of tea you use for brewing. Black teas (75-100 mg) typically contain the caffeine content of ½ of a cup of coffee. Green teas (35-50 mg) typically contain the caffeine content of ¼ of a cup of coffee and white teas (15-25 mg) typically contain the caffeine content of about â…› of a cup of coffee. Herbal teas usually do not contain caffeine

SKINNYLAND:  2 - 4 minutes

SHOULD I AVOID ANY BLENDS IF I'M PREGNANT AND/OR BREASTFEEDING?

As a general rule, it is best to speak to your healthcare provider before introducing any new foods, herbs or beverages into your diet when pregnant or breastfeeding

IS IT SAFE TO DRINK ANY OF THE TEAS IF I HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES?

Our suppliers abide by a refined food safety process and procedure to prevent any potential allergen cross-contamination. The eight major food allergens identified by the FDA are milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy and wheat. We do have select tea blends that contain trace amounts of milk, eggs, tree nuts and soy, so please refer to the ingredient list on the packaging or the product description before consumption.
